Finally, a New Years resolution that saves you time!

So, as we start off this New Year, we made eating healthier one of the top priorities (as I'm sure many have). What always seemed to throw a wrench into the plan is the amount of TIME it takes to prepare everything! Well I'm happy to announce that, for once, there is a way to work towards such a goal and actually save time! Its called pressure cooking!

Fantastic cooker.

I had an expensive Kuhn Rikon which was flimsy and broke quickly.

I wanted a stainless one for health safety (no aluminum).

This one is well made, solid heavy stainless steel body, and come with a basket and elevating stand, also in stainless.

The locking system is the French design, very safe and simple, and sturdy.

That one is a SEB French design which I trust.

Very solid and nicely made. A new type of pressure cooker!

I learned to cook using a pressure cooker many years ago from my mom. While many are afraid of it and I have seen it explode a few times with my mom using it, this newest version is pretty fool-proof. I've used it twice so far. Cooking potatoes and carrots, which came out perfectly. Next a tried making my mom's beef stew. I must say the cooking method is a bit different.
